1. This ONLINE Course takes about an hour to complete.
2. The 13 segments line up exactly with the DOT required curriculum.
3. There is a short quiz between each segment.
4. Most folks are scoring between 95 to 100%.
5. You need 80% to pass and meet the DOT requirements.
6. No Problem, take as much time as you need, and as many chances as you need.
7. Once you successfully finish this course, Red River will enter your information into the DOT portal, and then you are in the National database that the State DMV can access.

WHY do I have to take this New
ELDT Hazardous Materials Endorsement Course?
1. The DOT/FMCSA added new CDL requirements on Feb 7th, 2022.
2. Those CDL drivers wishing to obtain an “H” Endorsement on their license, after Feb 7th, 2022, are now required to take and pass a Hazardous Materials Endorsement Course administered by an approved training provider (TPR).

Do I still have to take the State test (generally a 30 questions test at the DMV)?
Yes. The new ELDT HME Course is added and must be completed successfully ahead of the State test. There are practice tests online.
Is there a Final test to this Course?
No. There are 12 short quizzes after each section. The scores on each of the quizzes are automatically averaged and that is your final score.
